Delicious Dairy-Free Hot Chocolate

This is a firm Yeotown favourite at Christmas and despite being Dairy-Free it really feels like a super indulgent version of everybody’s favourite winter warmer.

Makes: 4 Generous Cups
Takes: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
250ml Almond Milk
1 x tin Coconut Milk
200ml Water
1 x Cinnamon Stick, broken up
7 x Cloves
2 x Heaped tsp Cacao Powder
2 tsp Runny Honey

Method:

Heat the almond and coconut milk and water until warmed through (do not allow to boil!). Add the spices and allow to steep for 15 minutes. Strain through a sieve then whisk in the cacao powder, melt in the honey and heat until hot but not boiling. Serve with a cinnamon stick to stir, a grate of nutmeg, a pair of slippers and a roaring fire.
