Here, Caroline shows you how to make a refreshing summer juice. Its high in nutrients and tastes delicious – perfect for in between meals or as a kickstart before breakfast.

Makes 10-12 servings

INGREDIENTS:

1 x large cucumber

1 x packet of celery

2 x green apples (remove core)

2 x lemons

3 inch chunk of ginger

METHOD

Roughly chop the cucumber, add to juicer + blend

Roughly chop the celery, add to juicer + blend

Roughly chop the apples, removing the core, add to juicer + blend

Roughly chop the lemons, add to juicer + blend

Roughly chop the ginger, add to juicer + blend

Pore from juicer into jug, stir it up and serve over ice

EQUIPMENT

Juicer – if using one that does not remove the skins for you, peel the following before putting them in – apple, lemon + ginger
