Our delicious Energising Green Juice is a firm favourite among guests here at Yeotown. Served each morning with a ginger and turmeric shot (recipe coming soon!) this juice hydrates you, kicks starts your body, boosts your immune system and prepares you for the day ahead.
Kale and spinach both contain high levels of vitamin K and are good sources of plant-based calcium which is vital for healthy bones and teeth. As well as that they also contain vitamin C, E and Selenium which help boost the immune system
Lemon and ginger are included within this juice to give it a fresh, zingy kick, both are rich sources of vitamin C and antioxidants and are linked to reducing pain associated with inflammation, arthritis and even headache. Ginger is also great at reducing hunger.
Makes enough for 2 glasses or 1 large tumbler.
3 handfuls of spinach
2 handfuls of kale
broccoli offcuts (stalks and leaves) or swap for half a cucumber
2 sticks of celery
1 inch of ginger
juice of 1/2 a lemon
1 cup coconut water
Simply juice everything together, sandwiching the spinach and kale between the other ingredients and adding the liquids in at the end.
