We are excited to be holding a 5 day collaboration retreat, ‘The Art of Living Naturally’ from 14th – 18th July with Suzanne Duckett, one of the UK’s leading health & beauty journalists who has spent 25 years interviewing the world’s leading experts in this field. Author of Bathe (Bonnier books) and former editor of Tatler’s annual Spa Guide, Suzanne regularly writes about all matters of wellness for influential publications including The Telegraph, The Sunday Times, Sunday Times Style, Condé Nast Traveller, and Wall Street Journal. She has also recently founded (an acronym for online now offline later) a natural beauty and wellness hub and online store helping people live more naturally with confidence.

Learn about the huge benefits of a holistic, healthy lifestyle on this retreat. The programme will focus on the four cornerstones for a more connected and healthier lifestyle (MEDS). We believe that you are never too young (or old) to start learning about wellbeing and health making this retreat the perfect opportunity to start learning together.

The Four Cornerstones:

Meditation. It has been scientifically proven daily meditation can help us to cope with the stresses of everyday 21st century living. Meditation is also capable of reducing blood pressure, symptoms of anxiety, depression and insomnia. This is why we make time to not only meditate during our retreats, but also teach you good practice and skills to take away with you.

Exercise. During the retreat there will be daily hikes around the beautiful North Devon coast and countryside. Perfect for breathing in fresh ocean air and escaping from technology for a few hours. All while also working your muscles, getting active and having fun.

Diet. Diet is absolutely key for good health and the building block everything else grows from. We will have talks from Hazel, our expert Nutritionist, in addition to cooking lessons and discussions around the best way for you to eat for YOUR body. The programme is also a chance for you to start the detox process from food groups that may be harmful to your health.

Sleep. Finally, there will also be discussions around sleep, why it’s so important for your body. The quality of your sleep, its effects and how important good sleep is to your bodies healing and growth patterns.
