Join Mercedes this September for her Greek retreat on the beautiful and special island of Patmos, designed as an inspiring pause from the pace of everyday life.
Reserve NowThis has been a long time in the planning. Ever since Simon brought me to this island as a special surprise birthday trip a few years ago, I knew the minute I landed it was the perfect place to host one of my Vinyasa Flow Yoga Island Retreats. Join me this September for my first ever Greek retreat on the beautiful and special island of Patmos, designed as an inspiring pause from the pace of everyday life.
Set on the tranquil and private shores of Grikos Bay, we’ll be taking over a corner of a chic and charming boutique hotel where understated luxury meets the simplicity of island living. The team have a very Yeotown way about them. Welcoming, accommodating and always going out of their way to ensure a special stay. One of the few places I return to each year.
Each day unfolds slowly and intentionally.
Morning begins with a full spectrum, deep dive Vinyasa flow 2hrs+session, followed by an abundant late brunch overlooking the sea. Afternoons are left open for swimming, beach, reading, shopping, exploring, or simply doing nothing at all.
As the light softens, we gather again for evening practice grounding, restorative, and deeply unwinding.
Across the week, we’ll weave in:
Everything is curated, but nothing feels rushed.
After our extended Vinyasa Flow morning practices, we will enjoy a lovely brunch spread in the restaurant overlooking the sea. Fresh, abundant, and unhurried with something on offer for every dietary requirement.
Evenings are a little more social. We’ll dine together across a selection of beautiful local settings. relaxed, atmospheric, and thoughtfully chosen. Expect shared plates, long, easy conversations filled with laughs, and a sense of ease.
All dinners are included, with menus curated for the group. Wines, cocktails, and additional beverages will be available to order separately.
As we will be enjoying late brunches, lunches are intentionally left open, allowing space for spontaneity whether that’s a simple snack by the water or something discovered along the way.
The hotel’s spa offers treatments throughout the week from massage, facials, body scrubs to restorative therapies. Upon booking you will receive a full list of spa treatments available to book at a discounted rate for my retreat guests.
Patmos is often described as one of the Aegean’s best-kept secrets.
Quieter than its neighbouring islands, it carries a depth and stillness that’s hard to describe but easy to feel. Known as the place where Saint John is said to have written the Book of Revelation, the island holds a long-standing spiritual significance.
Our retreat for the week sits directly on the shore of Grikos Bay, one of the most secluded and unspoiled bays on the island. The hotel is boutique in size, beautifully designed and very much in tune with its surroundings: whitewashed interiors, sea-facing terraces, a private beach, and the kind of unhurried service that makes you feel genuinely looked after rather than processed. Rooms and suites are elegant and uncluttered, with strong natural light, quality linens and views that make it very easy to do nothing at all. It is a resort, but one that feels more like a well-kept secret than a hotel, exactly the right base for a yoga retreat like this.
Prices are per person and there is a sharing discount if you are coming with a friend/partner/family and wish to share a room. Cost is inclusive of all island chic accommodation, daily full spectrum yoga sessions, activities, buffet style brunches, and dinners at a selection of local island restaurants (cocktails and wine not included). The short taxi transfers to/from the hotel from the ferry port are not included but can be arranged for you once your booking and your arrival time is confirmed. Massages, facials and spa treatments are available for an extra fee in the Patmos Atkis beautiful Anasa Spa. Therapy list provided upon booking. Please note there is a £12 tourist tax per night will be payable directly to the hotel upon checkout.
